The ERA-NET SUSFOOD2, the Cofund on sustainable Food Production and Consumption, is organizing on 25 October in Stockholm the kick-off seminar of the 12 research projects funded via the Cofunded Call launched in 2017. This seminar will include keynote speeches and interactive sessions, next to the presentation of the projects. The selected projects are related to three different topics that are highly relevant for the JPI HDHL and the implementation of the EU Food 2030 strategy:
1)Innovation in food processing technologies and products;
2) providing added value, increased resources efficiency and reduction of waste in sustainable food systems;
3) understanding consumer behavior and food choices. To find out more about the seminar download the draft programme.
You can register via www.surveymonkey.de/r/SUSFOOD2_STHLM_2018. The SUSFOOD2 kick-off seminar is a semi-public event and registration is necessary. Further information can be found on the SUSFOOD website.

A second workshop will be held in the morning of October 26 with the SCAR SWG (Strategic Working Group of the Standing Committee for Agricultural Research) Food Systems members to discuss with the SUSFOOD2 network partners and the Advisory Board what future actions will bring SUSFOOD closer to fulfilling its objectives of covering the entire food supply chain, with the main focus on food chain sustainability beyond the farm gate, and achieving impact.
