The full programme of the 5th JPI HDHL conference has been finalized and published on the conference website. The conference takes place on February 20, in Brussels with the theme: Diet as leverage point towards a healthy and sustainable food system. Now that the programme is finalized, registration for the workshops and inspiration sessions has opened on the conference website. If you already registered for the conference, you will receive an email with information about how to sign up for the parallel sessions.
Programme in a nutshell
The conference will be kicked off by Dr. Line Gordon of the Stockholm Resilience Centre, who speaks about initiating change for future-proof food systems and how gastronomy, or the art of eating well, can contribute to this. Next, we will discuss with the audience and a panel of experts how to better connect policy and R&I needs and the role of diet towards a future proof food system.

Afterwards, we offer you the opportunity to get inspired by sessions about After the lunch Helen Roche, professor of nutrigenomics at University College Dublin, will give a high level overview of the research challenges and priorities in the field of diet, nutrition and health status, connecting this to the presentation of the new JPI HDHL Strategic Research Agenda.

In 5 interactive parallel workshops, participants have the chance to discuss JPI HDHL Science Vlog Contest
Science alone is not enough to change the world! Broad and understandable communication of research projects in order to have an impact on society is essential for excellent science. That is the reason why JPI HDHL has invited early career scientists of running JPI HDHL projects to participate in the JPI HDHL Science Vlog Contest. The best three vlogs will be shown during the conference and the audience can vote for the winning science vlog.
