Progress of Foresight Activities in JPI HDHL

image001

The first phase of foresight activities in JPI HDHL terminated with publication of the Report on Existing Foresight, summarizing main trends and drivers of change for future development of healthy diets and healthy lives, based on a review of existing foresight projects and activities in the relevant thematic areas.

The second phase of foresight activities begins with an interactive forward-looking event taking place on 2nd September in Berlin. On the basis of the identified trends and drivers, the foresight workshop will seek to identify key future challenges for healthy diets and healthy lives and explore possibilities to reach shared visions by developing research questions. The workshop participants will be representatives of the management and advisory bodies of the JPI HDHL as well as external experts.

The workshop outcomes will be then reviewed by the advisory boards of the JPI HDHL. Together with other inputs, the advisory board will provide a set of recommendations to the JPI HDHL Management Board in order to adjust and update the current Strategic Research Agenda.
