The Stakeholder Advisory Board (SHAB)
The stakeholder advisory board has been established to advice the JPI and to ensure an adequate exchange of information with other political bodies and stakeholders in the field of food & health.
The stakeholders advisory board is a communication platform of all relevant stakeholders and thus facilitates a close network between all relevant actors in the following research areas:
- Citizens, Diet and Behaviour
- Food for Health
- Diet, Health and Disease
The stakeholders advisory board:
- Forms a meta-group of representatives from relevant institutional bodies in the ERA and in the field of food & health
- Comments on drafts of all relevant documents of the JPI
- Multiplies and forwards all relevant information on the JPI such as common activities and initiatives joint calls etc.
- Ensures backing
- On request it will monitor the progress of the JPI and give advice with regard to strategic issues.
