Update: ERA HDHL-INTIMIC call “METADIS”
In February 2019, the JPI HDHL launched METADIS, a 3rd call organised under the umbrella of ERA-Net HDHL-INTIMIC to promote collaborative international research on nutrition and health.
In total, 11 countries support the call which focuses on the impact of diet, food components and food processing, on body weight regulation and related metabolic diseases.
The call was evaluated in 2 steps. Out of 42 pre-proposals that were submitted by April 2019, 39 were found eligible and after evaluation, 20 consortia were invited to submit a full proposal by July 2019. 213 research groups including 26 collaborators were ready to be involved in the projects with their own budget .
The final evaluation meeting took place on September 5th and 6th in Paris and resulted in the funding of 6 projects with an amount of 6,5 Mio € and involving research teams from DE, FR, ES, NL, IT, SE, NO and CZ.
