The overall goal of FOODPathS is to design the selforganizing prototype of the‘Partnership for Safe and Sustainable Food Systems (SSFS) for people, planet, and climate’ by following a systems approach and catalysing a change in mind-sets.
In 2013 started the first Joint Funding Action (JFA) initiated by HDHL followed by six further funding activities until 2015. From these seven calls much can be learned for future activities. ERA-HDHL was the first ERA-NET Cofund of HDHL and launched its first co-funded call in 2016: Biomarkers for Nutrition and Health (BioNH). In January 2022, ERA-HDHL ended and many interesting results were published, including from the co-funded call BioNH in which 13 countries and the European Commission (EC) funded a total of 12 research projects.- The Implementation Plan translates the objectives of the Strategic Research Agenda into tangible targets for the next three years and defines concrete funding and non-funding activities that will be carried out by the HDHL in the coming years.
