The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) was founded with the purpose of advocating for the protection and improvement of public health in Europe, both via health policies and across all other relevant policy areas that have a health impact.

About

EPHA is an international not-for-profit association established in 1993 under Belgian law. EPHA has developed into a leading NGO alliance with a solid network of 80 member organisations, including public health NGOs, patient groups, health professionals and disease groups, working together to improve health and strengthen the voice of public health in Europe.
EPHA’s mission is to bring together the public health community to provide thought leadership and facilitate change, to build public health capacity to deliver equitable solutions to European public health challenges, to improve health and reduce health inequalities.
EPHA’ vision is of a Europe with universal good health and wellbeing, where all have access to a sustainable and high-quality health system: A Europe whose policies and practices contribute to health, both within and beyond its borders.
EPHA’s core values are equity, solidarity, sustainability, universality, diversity, and good governance.
