Virtual mid-term symposium of HDHL-INTIMIC projects

On the 18th of June JPI HDHL is organising a virtual mid-term symposium for the projects funded in 2 calls focussing on the intestinal microbiome. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium will be held virtually instead of a face-to-face meeting. In this way, the JPI HDHL can still offer project leaders the opportunity to exchange knowledge and facilitate a discussion.

Intestinal Microbiomics projects

For the HDHL-INTIMIC symposium the 11 projects that were funded in the cofunded call “Interrelation of the Intestinal Microbiome, Diet and Health”, and the “Knowledge Platform on Food, Diet, Intestinal Microbiomics and Human Health” are invited.

During the symposium the progress and first results of each project will be presented and discussed. Another focus will be on implementation, impact and dissemination of the expected project results. The JPI HDHL finds it important that researchers think about the potential impact of their projects and ways to disseminate the results to the different target groups of the projects. Considering dissemination and communication of research as an integral part of any research project will help in increasing the visibility of research outputs, public engagement in science and innovation, and confidence of society in research.

The symposium is on invite only, besides the researchers that are involved in the intestinal microbiomics projects, also scientific experts are invited to evaluate the projects and contribute to the discussions. Members of the JPI HDHL Scientific Advisory Board, Stakeholder Advisory Board, Management Board, and funding agency representatives can also attend the symposium.
