Although a face-to-face event was not yet possible, the Joint Programming Initiative ‘A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life’ was proud to organize its 6th international conference digitally on April 20 and 21 of 2021. - ZonMw coordinates HDHL Food4Health, ensuring smooth management, communication and alignment with the European Commission, relevant Horizon Europe Partnerships and Member State funders. The coordination team oversees project progress, supports governance bodies and represents the initiative in key EU‑level processes and events.

This year’s World Health Day theme is ‘My health, my right’. FOOD SYSTEM The University of Copenhagen is leading a comprehensive new EU project, CLEVERFOOD, that will facilitate a society-wide mobilisation of European citizens to transform the European food system that benefits climate, sustainability, biodiversity and public health. In November 2023, the European Commission published its second report on ’Research and Innovation Pathways for action’. Via our deputy coordinator Jasmina van Driel, HDHL provided input to the seventh pathway ‘Nutrition and Sustainable Healthy Diets’.
