After a period of weeks in which most Europeans have been in lock down, it seems like it now becoming possible to slowly and carefully reduce restrictions and increase our freedom of movement again. - Image
The highly anticipated 14th European Nutrition Conference took place in Belgrade from 14-17 November, hosted by the Serbian Nutrition Society and the Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS). FENS President Philip Calder deemed the event a "resounding success". - Image
In January 2021, the JPI HDHL launched STAMIFY, the 4th additional non-cofunded Joint Funding Action (JFA) implemented in the frame of the ERA-Net Cofund HDHL INTIMIC. - In 2017 JPI HDHL launched a rapid action call to support a community-led working group that can push forward the field of diet-related chronic diseases. The working group that has been funded started in 2018 for one year.

The international SO-NUTS consortium focused on sarcopenic obesity: the combination of muscle loss and overweight in older adults. An interdisciplinary team developed new knowledge, an early risk indicator and a prototype lifestyle app. The project has concluded and continues with the practice-oriented SONETTO project. - Image
