Last week, the Management Board of HDHL met in Paris to shape the future of the initiative. The meeting brought together representatives from 13 member countries. We were especially pleased to welcome Brazil as an observer for the first time—marking an important step in HDHL’s international engagement. As part of the CLEVERFOOD project, HDHL will organise a session at Terra Madre 2026: "From dialogue to policy and action: co-designing the story and format of healthy and sustainable food policy insights" - Healthy Diet, Healthy Life (HDHL) has been and is still involved in several European projects. FOOD SYSTEM The University of Copenhagen is leading a comprehensive new EU project, CLEVERFOOD, that will facilitate a society-wide mobilisation of European citizens to transform the European food system that benefits climate, sustainability, biodiversity and public health. We are pleased launch the new joint funding activity the Knowledge Hub call on ‘Establishing the link between food processing, human health, and sustainable food systems’.
